Mixing
Your multitracks become a coherent record in our Oud-West control room—clear midrange, controlled lows and a bounce that translates on speakers and earbuds.

Mixing is where separate captures turn into a song. At Mislikervyraxi we work offline from your stems: not an hour of live fader rides, but focused EQ, dynamics, spatial work and automation until the track sits right. Mix engineer Noor van der Meer leads most projects; when schedules overlap we confirm who handles your folder upfront.
Every job starts with listening: genre, foreground elements, noise or phase issues. Then we build a mix that respects your references without cloning them. 2 revision rounds per track are included; further passes use the rate listed below.
How it works
- 01
Delivery
Export stems per stem guide, upload via agreed link and list tempo, key and references.
- 02
Intake
We verify sync, clipping and naming. Missing info gets a reply within 3 business days.
- 03
Mix pass
Balance, EQ, compression, effects and automation. First mix version usually lands within five to ten business days.
- 04
Revisions
You send consolidated notes; we deliver the second pass. Optional extra rounds at €55 per track.
Projects we take on
Singles after vocals or band tracking, EPs up to six songs, dense electronic instrumentals and podcast themes that need consistency across episodes. We do not mix full film scores or crowd-heavy live albums—our room and workflow are not built for that scale.
A rough mix from a home setup is often a fine starting point when stems are clean. Unsure? Send a short brief through contact.
Stems and specs
Supply WAV stems, preferably 24-bit, from bar one, without a limiter on the stereo bus. Split vocals, drums, bass and instruments; doubled guitars may be grouped if you state that clearly.
Mark which effects are final and which tracks must stay dry. Deliver mix stems lists sample rate, headroom and folder layout. Bad exports delay the start date.
Workflow in the room
Mixing happens at Overtoom 141 on nearfields with a headphone second pass. The chain is hybrid: in-the-box processing plus selected outboard where it adds musicality. We print no destructive commits until you sign off on a version, so alternate balances remain possible within the booked revision rounds.
Automation covers vocal rides, drum grooves and breaks where the song needs air. Master bus processing stays light; streaming loudness is usually a separate mastering step.
Revisions and notes
Each track includes 2 revision rounds. Batch feedback per round: timestamps, element (‘vocal chorus’) and intent (‘more presence’, ‘less boomy kick’). Notes spread over weeks do not count as one round.
Extra revisions are €55 per track incl. VAT. Major arrangement changes (new stems) are quoted as new work or a partial track fee.
What you receive
A stereo mix WAV at 24-bit, sometimes an MP3 for quick reference. We do not ship mixed multitracks by default; instrument buses are optional when booked ahead.
Files stay on our server for 18 months. Keep your final mix locally; after that window project data is deleted unless you buy an extension. Ask us early if you need stems for a video cut later.
Pricing
Rates include 21% VAT. EP packages apply to up to six tracks delivered in one batch.

Schedule and payment
After stem approval we invoice with a 35% deposit for first-time clients. Turnaround depends on queue; rush is sometimes possible when the calendar allows.
Quotes answered within 3 business days. B2B payment term 21 days. Cancelling after mix work starts is billed for hours spent per terms.
Outside the mix fee
Editing timing between takes, vocal tuning, recording missing parts, mastering, artwork and distribution are not part of standard mixing. Book mastering separately from €75 per track.
Stems that stay out of sync because of export errors incur prep time. Sample clearance remains your responsibility; see terms and conditions.
Tied to recording here
Sessions tracked in-house can move straight into a mix—no re-bounce round trip. External recordings are welcome when they meet the stem guide.

FAQ
When do I get the first mix?
Typically five to ten business days after complete stems and payment. Release crunches take longer; we confirm a date via contact.
Should stems be dry?
Dry is safest for vocals and bass. Guitar or synth effects that define your tone may stay—list them in the delivery email. See deliver mix stems.
Can I attend the mix?
Short listening sessions in the studio can be booked at studio hourly rates, separate from the mix fee. Full real-time co-mixing does not fit our schedule.
What after two included revisions?
Each extra round is €55 per track incl. VAT. Large stem swaps are quoted as new mix work.
Do you master as well?
Yes, as a separate service. After mixing we deliver a premaster without heavy limiting; mastering sets final streaming loudness.
